THE LODI COMMUNITY ART CENTER
The Lodi Art Center was created over 65
years ago when a group of artisans gathered to share their
interest in the arts. In 1960, the Art Centered incorporated
as a non-profit educational organization "to encourage
an interest in, and study of, the arts". Lodi is
a historic city in Califorina's wine country. Lodi is
90 miles northwest of San Francisco and is near to many
of the best knowns names in wineries on the central California
coast.
The "Little Gallery" is dedicated
to art from students in the local high schools. A competitive
scholarship is given to a local high school student showing
an interest in expanding her or his talents.
